Houston Schoonmaker is a Big Country local who graduated from Hawley High School and now resides in Abilene. Houston received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017 from Abilene Christian University. After ACU, Houston attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio’s Physician Assistant Program and received his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in December of 2020. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, camping, hunting/fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his wife. Houston is committed to high-quality patient care and the overall well-being of each patient he treats.
