Cortney is a long-term Breckenridge resident who has been in the medical field for almost 20 years. Cortney received her BSN-RN from Tarleton State University and her MSN in nursing from Midwestern State University with a certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Cortney began practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner for ResourceCare in 2015. She soon developed a passion for behavioral health. In September of 2019, she completed her studies and obtained her Post-Master’s Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She currently works at ResourceCare as both a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
